Overview

Arkansas Commitment is excited to offer students an opportunity to explore a variety of colleges while engaging in cultural and historical experiences. Students will participate in campus tours, visit the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis, and enjoy a group entertainment excursion in Atlanta.

To ensure that every student who wishes to attend can do so, Arkansas Commitment will cover hotel and transportation costs for all students in good standing with the program. However, to help offset additional expenses, we encourage families who are able to contribute a tax-deductible donation of $250 per student.

Behavioral Expectations

To maintain a safe and productive experience for all participants, students are expected to:

• Respect and follow the directions of all trip participants, including fellow students, chaperones, and college representatives.

• Adhere to the trip itinerary and stay with the group at all times.

• Maintain professional behavior during college visits.

• Follow curfew and hotel rules.

• Use electronic devices responsibly (except for pictures, phones must be put away during tours)

Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in disciplinary action, removal from Arkansas Commitment, and early dismissal from the trip at the family’s expense.

Permission and Liability Release

By signing below, I acknowledge that:

• My student has permission to attend the Arkansas Commitment Spring Break College Tour from March 24 – March 28, 2025.

• My student will follow all Arkansas Commitment guidelines and behavioral expectations.

• I understand that failure to comply with these guidelines may result in my student being sent home early at my expense.

• I release Arkansas Commitment, its staff, and volunteers from any liability for injuries, lost belongings, or unforeseen circumstances during the trip.
